hi , im a noob , i want to find a group of people who trade forex and discuss strategy and copy them and learn on the process , any groups like that anywhere? i currently play on my demo account at mt4. Theoritically i understand some stuff like edge , volatility , money management and what zero sum is , i just dont understand how price works what affects it , how to be selective and timid about my trades (pick only the best of the best) because i dont understand what is best lol , i hate reading books , i understand some very basic stuff about chart reading , i prefer to learn on practice. Btw what does it mean follow a trend? join a trade where a lot of people are then leave when they leave? how do i detect trends? I need a step by step plan to try on my demo account.
Im not trolling you , stop being sarcastic , well i dont mind getting flamed but i want to improve , cmon help me , from what i read even the best have like 2% edge , thats incredibly low but i want to start on small capital and make a bank out of this , if i can create a smallish edge...somehow , give me a formula to do it btw if trading is zero sum then you make money because other people lose money therefore some people are doing mistakes that you exploit , what are their mistakes though?
Here is what you do, go to Walmart and go to kids department, buy or steal silver holstered gun like for playing cowboy and india, and find closest bank, enter bank with ski mask on and yell out you want all the currency they have in one dollar bills cause you want to trade Forex and wave your plastic gun around your head, don't worry, police are very nice people with rubber bullets, they will take you elsewhere where they give you three meals a day and you will learn from the others in your group about edge, how to be selective and you be the practice they all need. Warm wishes to you.....
I used to read a lot , i also read a bit about trading in the past but i suffer from anxiety now , i cant really sit and read , its very stressfull and i cant concetrate especially in a complicated thing like trading , i think trading can be simple and possible to learn some stuff with practice , well i might be wrong i dont know.
You are a noob but understand volatility and edge and money management....and don't want to do any work to learn, like reading books, just want to follow others and magically learn to be a money making machine... and you wonder why people here are going to flame you for the douche waffle vag you come across as...
You are a long way from concern about a demo account. First, you have a great deal of learning to do. If you are successful and most aren't, it will likely take years, a number of months if you are a quick learner with talent and great discipline. You may not like to read but I would suggest picking up a primer like John Murphy's Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets to learn the language of trading and principles of analysis. I came from the corporate world as a well paid exec and it took me a couple of years before I could even distinguish the real traders from the bullshit. This is a profession which takes a lot of work, time and dedication. That you can not recognize a trend indicates you know VERY little about "chart reading". If you are serious, be prepared for a long and sometimes painful education. It is worth the effort but understand that most drop out along the way.
