    Iran may be planning attacks against U.S. allied targets in neighboring Iraq or elsewhere in the region in the coming days

    =====
    Senior military official said new warnings had been detected, a sign that potential "complex attacks" against Americans are brewing as the one-year anniversary of the U.S. killing Iran’s most powerful general looms.

    "We're seeing planning for, particularly in Iraq for complex attacks that require Iranian assistance in order to be pulled off," the official warned. "It's unclear to us, whether it's contingency planning, or whether it's a plan that is advancing because approval has been given and they're just trying to get all the pieces in place and execute."

    While there is a range of potential attacks against Americans in the Middle East, the "most worrisome is within Iraq," the official said.

    "We see a fair amount of advanced conventional weaponry of different types that has been flowing over the border into Iraq," they added. "The threat streams are very real."

    what a dangerous world.
    Who is going to strike (covertly) first?

    It will be a volatility opportunity, not a volatility risk.

    Well if you are on the wrong side of the volatility, then yes, it's a volatility risk.

    right.
    In general, volatility is our friend.

    There are times when volatility is bad.
    eg when volatility is very high, charting software & trading platform
    might not be able to handle it and would freeze.
    also when the market moves in an erratic, chaotic manner, it is very
    difficult to trade.

    Why do things always have to be like this. Just when you think that things are getting better they just keep on getting worse. This is the worst year for any country to go to war with another country. If the attack happened the we are going to lose so much from this and the best thing that we can do is get rid of what we think it's going to happen. I do not think that he attack will ever happen. Iran is not in a good position now and we know that the US has the power and may take down Iran in a short time. I don't know this may have a direct impact on the forex market and the end result is the effect on the traders trades during that time.
