After they could see that he had a temporary plate, and that the vehicle was obviously new, that should have been the end of it.

"...suing, so that these incidents stop happening ..."

    LOL

Again, these issues with police force is directly related to our loose gun policies.

Police are trained to be prepared to protect themselves from guns and thus have to subdue and neutralize suspects for the most low level encounters.

We ask too much of the police and they are in an impossible situation because we have do not have basic gun laws.

They don’t deal with this type of thing in most other countries because there aren’t guns everywhere in other countries.

    Did you watch the video?

He drove to a well lit area, as some police departments advice citizens to do.

They pulled him over for not having a plate.

After pulling him over, they could then see the temporary plate.

There was no reason to continue the detainment after that.

There was no mention of a gun.

What they did was stupid and unnecessary.

You knew the job was dangerous when you took it.

If your job is too hard, get another one.

Using that same "logic," please explain this:

Now, I wonder what could be the factor causing the vastly different responses.

Racism, expecting the worse makes it worse. What if he waved his cell phone at the cop?
PSYOP, to make people feel targeted. Persecution.....by the best, join today.

Definitely a factor in US police aggressiveness but not the main or only cause imo.US police routinely brutalize people even after they know they don't have a gun.

Traffic stop reform is one of the most needed reforms.Police routinely pull people over for 1 thing than harass and investigate drivers for something that has nothing to do with the reason they were pulled over for.

  8. Is this another "Black guy" gets pulled over by the Police thread?

Why isn't there any "White guys" that get pulled over by the Police threads at ET?

White people are pulled over more often then Black people. The media will lie about this though because it does not fit their f'd up agenda.

  10. Just like corporations, these lawsuits do nothing to the state. Cost of doing business. Cops need to be held criminally liable for excessive force.
