https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5905354/ The only European comedy title out of the British Islands that ever made me laugh (and continue to watch it). Not that there's a wealth of European non-comedy titles that ever made me continue to watch them after the first 5 minutes. 10 if in a super-good mood. They are as follows: - Lola rennt (Run Lola Run). - Unsere Mütter Unsere Väter (Generation War) As you see I'm well versed in choosing from a wide variety of European comedy and non-comedy movies (leaving British Islands aside / US too), precisely what's worth viewing. Comedy is the hardest. Actually. Like even Russians make good / outstanding war movies ("9'th company", "Fortress of War"). But killing people is one biznis, entertaining them a whole different one. So I recently tried to "break the shackles" and free myself from the Anglo-Saxon sense of comedy that I guess was instilled in me by innumerous brainwashing through such as "SNL or "Kay and Peele". Tried: 1) Some French comedy which made me cry. 2) Some Israelian comedy which made me cringe. 3) Some Turkish comedy which said "crap" a lot and might have been funny if I were 7-9 years old. 4) Some Korean comedy which made me almost crap myself. (Horror factor too but I stopped short at actually crapping and somehow that being funny). Which: "actually crapping and somehow that being funny" prize goes to our Norwegian team so far. They actually managed to combine words / worlds as apart as those into a thing that at least it's funny. SPOILER ALERT: whole dialogue is carried in English, although all the actors are Norwegian. Maybe they should give SNL a little bit of credit (at the bottom of the rapidly scrolling screen) for making this funny:
