The thing that is fugly for the dems- especially in House because they are always up for re-election- is that they don't know what their strategy is for midterms which will come up sooner than they think. Their traditional strategy just fell apart on them. Their traditional response to any loss is to proclaim that they will raise enough money out of Hollywood to buy the whole country and then stick it up the arse of targeted candidates. Really? You spent 95 million to bring Susan Collins down- the last republican in DC from New England- and dem's raised 6 million just on the week for her not-yet-identified opponent when she defended Kavanaugh. Then Collins won by 9 frigging points. Ditto for many other candidates. Yup. Republicans took a titanic size hit on the presidential race. They want Schumer too. It would not surprise me to see Pocahontas run for and be chosen as majority leader. Conventional wisdom is that she wants to be Treasury Secretary but I think that has gotten wobbly of late. Minority leader I meant.
