Just reminder here, amongst the hourly postings from GWB that the unvaccianted are driving all these mutants, that that issue has not been resolved. The title of my thread lifted from an NPR article (among many others but I purposely chose a non-conservative source) is not even allowed on some media these days. Keep in mind that just because the media suppresses discussions about whether vaccines can lead to the evolution of more and more resistant strains does not mean that that is a settle question. It isn't. On a daily basis we get the drumbeat of how it is only the unvaccinated that are leading to tougher and tougher strains and the solution is to just vaccinate everything that moves and if it does not move then vaccinate it until it does. It is more complicated than that. AS WE ARE SEEING AND WILL SEE FOR A LONG TIME TO COME. Now, we know how people on this site roll. Lots of binary thinkers will jump up and say that I am arguing this or that. Nope, the only thing I am arguing against is the suppression by may here and media of what is a very valid issue for discussion either because the implications are too scary for them or because the script they have been handed does not allow for it. February 9, 2021 (back when it was okay to talk about it because it was just theory but don't try it on some social media now) Vaccines Could Drive The Evolution Of More COVID-19 Mutants Mutant coronaviruses can make vaccines less effective. At the same time, vaccines can contribute to virus mutations
