    Vaccine hack

Pfizer and BioNTech say hackers stole documents relating to the development of their COVID-19 vaccine. The cyber-heist occurred in an attack on the European Medicines Agency, which is evaluating their vaccine. The companies said they don't think the personal data of vaccine-trial participants were compromised. (Also read this Fortune comment piece on hospitals' vulnerability to cyberattacks.) Tomorrow Russia and China will come out with information that they've made "great progress".

It wasn't about the participants' personal data.

But I say it is a good thing. If the vaccine is truly good, the more is made and the more people are getting it is the better for humankind. Even if the hackers overcharge for it, as long as it is getting to the people, overall it is good. If nothing else, it may bring down the price of the other vaccines.

Also it is not like industrial spying isn't going on at any and every level among competitors...

What will be even more valuable is the list of those who have taken the vaccine.

"If you took a COVID-19 vaccine during the period 2020-2021 and your baby was born with defects or you grew a third testicle, you may be entitled to damages. Call or go online to find out more."

Hackers are likely trying to work out, why there all the fearmongering to push a vaccine for a virus most people have already had and didn't kill them.

Although it's not a Vaccine, it doesn't stop you getting it or spreading it, it merely makes the symptoms less deadly, so all this you can't travel without, or work, bla bla bla is totally pointless and illogical to the max.

    Pfizer hack

South Korea's spy agency has alleged that North Korean hackers tried to steal vaccine technology from Pfizer—which rather spoils the story Kim Jong Un has been spinning about there being no COVID-19 cases inside the pariah state. AFP

It is like synthetic diamond. Just because you know how to make it, it doesn't mean you have the necessary equipment to make it.(or distribute it, because this is the -70F one) But again, if it is the so far best vaccine, and somebody else is going to make it, overall it is good news.

If it was North Korea, their citizens will die of hunger faster than from Covid.
