    I thought I'd start a thread to track cases & news in the USA. Apologies to world members, but sadly American fear drive & market impact are felt when it hits closest to home.

    UPDATE: First U.S. death from coronavirus reported in King County
    On Saturday, the Washington State Department of Health confirmed the first person to die of the coronavirus in the United States in a 50-year-old man in King County.

    Spokane County resident tested for COVID-19 after showing symptoms
    A Spokane County resident who is displaying symptoms of the COVID-19 has been tested for the virus Saturday night.

    According to our partners at The Spokesman-Review, the Spokane Regional Health District has five other people in Spokane County are also under surveillance for the virus

    NYT: Rhode Island reports its first case.
    Rhode Island on Sunday reported its first “presumptive positive” coronavirus case, a man in his 40s who had recently traveled to Italy, France and Spain, state officials said at a news conference on Sunday.

    It was the first case in the United States that officials had linked to travel in Europe.

    2 More Cases Reported in Washington State, and First in Dominican Republic
    With two more cases announced in Washington State and one in Rhode Island, the total in the United States has now reached 73. In the Dominican Republic, a tourist visiting the country from Italy tested positive.

    Local officials in Washington State said two men in their 60s had tested positive for the virus and were in critical condition.

    It's the 1's that think they've just got a cold and don't get tested and spread it which is the issue.
