It's becoming more and more of a reality!! I've been preaching this on the board for months now. S&P's Chambers: Pressure is building on the AAA US sovereign rating, notes the ratings remain stable - says the AIG bailout weakens the US fiscal profile, the AAA rating is not a "god-given gift," US has to earn the rating
These guys are priceless. they miss they whole mess then they want to margin call the entire system with no warnings
I am stunned. You think that people running the show... (the gov/wall street/ratings firms/insurance companies) but when the shit hits the fan it looks like everything is crumbling at an unimaginable rate. It feels like the world we live in is just a house of cards.
Can you please not post threads with headings like that unless you are reporting something more than your conjecture.
You're kidding right???????? THE CHAIRMAN OF THE S&P's SOVEREIGN RATING COMMITTEE SAYS THE US AAA RATING IS NOT GUARANTEED and you think that isn;t worthy of a post?!?!?! Are you fucking dense boy???? That post has more value then everything you've ever done in your life combined. Good luck removing your head from your ass.
If you open the dictionary and look up the word hysterical you might find your picture there. For your sake I hope you are female.
Oh yes.... you're both right... what was I thinking??? Posting forward looking statements with breaking news to back my speculation. How silly of me. I should post things like "Wow Lehman Brothers went bk a few days ago... that sure was something" I generally only post huge breaking news and its implications in real time... before the hacks will see it on CNBC. I was trying to throw people a bone. Oh well.... my speculation has been paying off well so far today.
you conveniently left out the most important part of the interview (I saw it too). He said they project the USA to have a stable future performance and they would ONLY revisit the rating if it became a NEGATIVE projected performance. That was the point, and you entirely missed it with your topic heading. The other poster was quite correct. Try and pay attention next time.
