While the speed of catchup is surprising even experts in the field it does seem to be 2-3 generations behind. Apple will be releasing its new phones with processors manufactured on the 3nm nodes. I have been saying for over 10 years that the choice of the West to manufacture top high tech in China was a disastrous decision. Globalization works with honest trading partners. China has been stealing left and right. Tooling, calibration, materials, design, nothing is safe from the long fingers of the Chinese. The only way to safeguard IP is to NOT let it fall into the wrong hands in the first place, meaning, not to manufacture in China, period. There is no way China could catch up that quickly without a horrendous ip theft.
Apple even doesn't have 5G, whereas Huawei owns the most 5G patents and even has 5G integrated in its own chips. And: this latest Huawei smartphone has even satellite phone integrated, a first in the World! (cf. the link in the OP) So, IMO Apple is nobody when compared to Huawei Apple share holders should know this fact: Apple had its peak, the future goes downwards for the Apple share price... IMO...
You have no clue about China. You are just one of the dumb racist puppets w/o an own brain. I suggest you do your own research about modern China instead of being fed lies by your masters...
Their phones have had 5G for about three years. https://www.whistleout.com/CellPhones/Guides/5g-iphone
But it's not Apple's own 5G chip, but of Qualcomm or so, whereas Huawei has its own 5G chip. It shows that Huawei is more advanced than Apple, there's nothing to steal from Apple
