Which of the following will be The One's response to the huge party for the Lockerbie terrorist?

  2. This is beyond the pale, way beyond.

The folks who agitated for his release were the British oil companies:

    American official reaction:

This is my first and last comment in this POS. How you live with yourself is truly beyond my comprehension.

I was reminded that I should have added "Apologize for US aggression against muslims everywhere."

    Dang.

Don't believe me? Watch and learn. Sure, some officials have to come out against this. In words here at home, anyway. But there will be no official action against Libya. Then when this dies down The One will be sucking up to Col. Qaddafi. Maybe next year at this time, a couple billion in US foreign aid and a speech congratulating Libya on working with the West.

It would be pretty funny if The One sent Hillary to do this dirty deed.

US Presidents have a long history of this sort of nonsense:

The one good thing about peak oil is the fact that these camel-shit-kicking mother fuckers can go back to sucking sand once the wells run dry.

And I hope the pigmen behind these types of abominations take the ride back to the stone age with them.

  5. Just a reminder on how US politicians buckle to the demands of Libya and the US oil companies doing business there.

Libya Seeks Exemption for Its Debt to Victims

WASHINGTON — One by one, top executives of American oil companies met privately over the last year with Libya’s leader, Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi, often in his signature Bedouin tent, as they lined up contracts allowing them to tap into the country’s oil reserves.

But now, the new allies are working Capitol Hill, trying to weaken a law that threatens those deals. The Libyan government, once a pariah, and the American oil industry have hired high-profile lobbyists, buttonholed lawmakers and enlisted help from the Bush administration, all in an effort to win an exemption from a law that Congress passed in January that is intended to ensure that victims of terrorist attacks are compensated.

  6. TGregg - you do know what petrodollar recycling is?

If you have billions of dollars to invest in US Treasuries and US Stocks, you too will get an apology and a sword dance. Until then, you and your opinions are irrelevant.

I'm not happy about it either, but it's the sad truth.

China is buying less of our treasuries and the Fed can only buy so much. Our politicians are only looking for other investors to fill the gap.

Geez, that didn't take long. The state department is looking for a swanky hotel for the Good Colonel:

US working with Libya on Gadhafi visit to UN

WASHINGTON – In a bid to head off any embarrassing incidents, the State Department said Tuesday it is working with Libya to find a place for Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi to stay when he visits the United Nations next month.

Maybe The One will set him up in the Lincoln Bedroom.

BTW: Didya ever notice that these guys have about 3 dozen ways to spell their name?

I'm sure Obama and his buddy Bill Ayers sent a congratulatory greeting to their brother terrorist.

I wonder if he'll get a whole floor to himself. He was going to stay in a tent, but our current administration would not allow it. Only the best accommodations are suitable for one who leads the terrorists, paid for by the US Taxpayer. yay!

  10. Yeah Obama keep crying those crocodile tears. Considering 169 Americans died in the attack only a moron would accept Obama's outrage. The fact of the matter is, if Obama told the Scots not to release him, he would not have been released. Its that simple. Behind closed doors the Scots contacted Obama and sought approval and Obama granted it. Only a fool would think otherwise.

Second of all, doesn't this really shoot a huge hole through Obama's foreign policy approach. Obama doctrine states that you should go around kissing everyone's ass and in return you gain influence over them. Well where is the influence? Do you mean to tell me that Great Britian released a terrorist that killed 169 americans, and the USA, the worlds only superpower and GB's closest ally was unable to wield enough influence to stop the release. This is an absolute joke.
