In 1995 the US Senate voted 93-5 to move the US embassy to Jerusalem and the House voted 374-37 on the same measure. The voted spanned the political spectrum.

Less than a year, the Senate voted 90-0 to move the embassy to Jerusalem.

Well done President Trump. The people have you spoken and you have listened.

  2. Clinton, Bush Jr and Obama all campaigned on a promise to move the embassy to Jerusalem.
    Only Trump did it.

Every nation has the right to determine where their capital will be and that is where the embassies of other nations should be located.

The Democratic leadership is upset because Trump is giving traditional Democratic voters less and less reason to vote Democratic in the next election.

  4. Perhaps, but I saw something last week suggesting that 12 or 15 other nations were moving their embassies to Jerusalem as well.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
