When integrating a trading bot to execute rapid orders based on press release titles, it is critical to choose a news provider with ultra-low-latency delivery. I am currently searching for a real-time news provider that offers an ultra-low-latency news feed delivery system, supporting multicast, UDP, and TCP distribution channels, or any other setup capable of achieving even lower latency, such as cross-connect or co-location services. My goal is to connect my trading bot to the best ultra-low-latency news provider to execute rapid orders based on press release titles. Which news providers offer the lowest latency for real-time news? a. Bloomberg b. Refinitiv (formerly Thomson Reuters) c. Acquire Media d. Eikon e. Other (e.g., machine-readable data feeds) If the answer is "e" (Other), which machine-readable data feed service would you suggest?
Sometimes the market moves before/without the news. Sometimes when there is news, the market moves immediately (with deadly whipsaw) or the market moves days later or the market just sleep Sometimes, the news writeup is ridiculous/fake/senseless/biased But mostly the market moves without the news And the target audience for most of the news are the investors, not day traders. Happy linking the ultra low latency news to the bot .

You will have to co-locate and pay for low latency data feeds. You will be competing with other HFTs. Did you estimate your costs?
(e) IIRC, Quincy offers tagged news feeds via separate cross-connect at key data centers - expect to spend about a fuck-ton, integration is a pain but that's what the big boys use (b) is a sensible alternative unless for a higher turnover but not an UHF type player (e) for a more economical solution, AlphaFlash is an API-based framework As a side note, pure news trading is very competitive and you'd probably need a seven-figure budget to get it going properly.
Thank you qlai , good Point I'm actually working in cost yes, Will have some calls with Equinix, Cogent, Zayo and Lime
