The US trading field has never had CFD's, and obviously not spreadbetting, so I don't see how the US's position would have an impact on equity CFD trading at this time. The UK is not part of the EU anyway.
Never had or was never allowed to have - those are two different things. All that i am saying, 10 - 15 years, so approx ~5 left to see what happens. Don't know how much different/advanced is London's exchange compering with the rest of the EU, that which could be a potential reason for something to be delayed or never to happen at all, exceptionally in UK. Yes, but if all of the EU admits that it has a clear conflict of interest & UK stands still, - not much to say then.
