How does it feel to believe Covid is a scam ONLY because it hurts trump politically after he kept insisting it’s a scam.

    A scam? Perhaps not.

I regularly spend quite a lot of time around 20-30 somethings (tech industry). Majority of people seem to be concerned about the virus but believe much of it is political. For example, case rates and death rates going down yet you still can't get your hair cut.

Moreover, ignoring absolute numbers and looking at IFR the situation is significantly less bleak than the media would have you believe. Would I go outside as a 65+? Probably not. But being significantly less than 65 I see no problem mingling with the unwashed masses. Its a simple application of trading philosophy. If you wait for 100% certainty you'll miss the trade.

None of this would happen in a normal year. It is an election season and suffering is good. There seems to be bipartisan agreement on this - at least among the serfs. In my locality I can't even shit without wearing a mask. Its absurd to the point of comedy.

One day you clever boys will work out the 95.75 percent aka not-the-USA, did not conspire with both your political parties to all stay at home for months.

    We live in hope.
