TWTR

  1. Hey Guys,
How's it goin'? I'm new on ET and don't claim to be any kind of trader or know anything about trading or anything traded, other than I'm a contrarian. I highly respect anyone who trades anything for any reason in any way.
I think Elite Trader is the best site of its kind and one of a kind, and is a really great forum for too many reasons to mention.
Thanks for letting me be here, post and read. I appreciate it.
I started this TWTR thread because I didn't want to get off-topic on SuperCruz's TWTR thread, and, sorry SC, if I did. Didn't mean to.

This thread is for the TWTR stock, and would like very much for all ET members to say anything they want about Twitter, good, bad, indifferent, news, rumors, facts, hearsay, personal experience with Twitter .. opinions count! :) And, thanks beforehand. We'll figure out what we're gonna do... with TWTR.

Please keep in mind though that what I myself write here is just my own opinion/s and conclusions (that may shift views from time to time) so please don't presume anything I say to be factual or even fact based unless I include a reference link/s that in itself may or may not be factual, per se.
Again, thanks guys for letting me write and interact here with you. I look forward to members' posts and insights.
    Kindest regards,
    - Stellar Hitz

  2. Cdntrader, yes, agreed. What you're seeing, this "real time" deal, is the issue. I personally don't think many see or realize about this factor, even though they themselves may be kind of part of it.
Like you said, TWTR does need to morph. Its weaknesses are so weak it's pathetic.
But, to me, Twitter is really kind of made up of people. It is highly people-oriented (one of its strengths I presume). I've never done FB so I can't really comment. I have found it's Twitter's high interactivity platform between people that seems to be what separates Twitter from other "social networking" sites, and makes it in its own right one of a kind.

It will never be EliteTrader. There may not even be any traders there - but I don't know since I'm not on that site for anything trading related. Good post.

  3. Money's quickly draining out of the USD. 1.3708
Could be something bigger about to happen.
Stock market taking TWTR down another 5 or 10 points...?

  4. We were just at 1.3475 when the market realized the price was wrong.
So, in reaction to this the world changed the price zooming it to over 1.3700.
A 225 click/tic zip drain out out of the Dollar - politely lightening it.
A move like this is no fluctuation. It's a distinct determination.
There's a reason why the market suddenly decided the USD is at the wrong price on 02-02-2014, and so moved it to 1.3724.
Anyone want to guess what it is?

  5. Oh, one other thing I think you should know.
I'm calling for at least a 50% drain off of the DowJ by June, no later than September.
    That's *taps calculator* 16,154.39 - 50% = 8077.
And, unless TWTR become real valuable real soon? It'll be the first to be axed, possibly even booking a reservation down to DelistedVille.
    So, there you have it.

  6. Just so you don't peg me for a raving lunatic staring into some cryptic crystal ball I'll give (some of) my reasoning behind my call for the stock market to essentially half itself by mid to forth quarter this year.

It's value. Yes, the stock market is in the 16,200 neck of the woods today but I really don't see solid underpinnings supporting this price nor pricing level.

The current US economy is at best hobbling-along as a broken piece of a bag of questions - at best. And, that is not being fixed, nor possibly even addressed. A bad sign. A very bad sign.

And, that simply isn't an environment -- or as can be said, an explainable or justifiable market sentiment -- that supports current stock market pricing at this level. Far from it, to me. At best you've got valuation at the 8,000 to 9,000 market reality level. The world has just not seen or realized it yet.

So, in over-brief, there you have it.
