If they have, I'm not aware of it. They left up hundreds of tweets suggesting trump should be assassinated. I'm not claiming they can't police their site, but the public looks on these companies as essentially common carriers, ie they have to take everyone, just like a bus or ferry. For the life of me, I cannot see how getting involved in political censorship is good for any of these companies. Certainly not twitter.
They have to take everyone you say? common carriers you say? What about cake shops that have orders by gays?
Could you point out where I said they had to take everyone or that they were common carriers? I said the public thinks of them in that way, and if they get a different impression, it could hurt their business. Can you imagine the effect on Twitter if Trump announced he was closing his feed because of their unfair censorship and going to Gab? As I recall, the cake shop lost. Progressives cheered and jeered religious believers. It does seem odd that a corner cake shop cannot pick its customers but zillion dollar social media companies can.
