1. A field that shows each position's contribution to my margin requirement. 2. Highlight the bid when my bid is the best bid. 3. Let me configure the "Set lmt price" hotkey to do different things depending on whether I use it on a buy order or a sell order. Currently I have it set to ask-0.001 but it would be disastrous if I accidentally used it on a buy order. I want the same hotkey to do bid+0.001 on buy orders. 4. Consolidate the risk navigator tabs so short TLT is netted against long individual bonds etc. 5. Some indicator of bond seniority and secured/unsecured status. 6. On variable coupon corp bonds, instead of "N/A" yield, calculate yields as if the coupon were constant and put an asterisk on it. 7. Fix memory leaks or whatever that makes TWS lag after I've been using it for a few hours, so I don't have to close it and log back in to fix the lag. 8. In forced liquidation, prioritize the most liquid positions, so I don't have to manually "liquidate last" all the illiquid stuff. 9. Pegged-To-Primary with positive/negative offsets for bonds and options. 10. Fix bogus daily P&L on illiquid options. I've seen it show a 10% loss several days in a row while the actual market value stayed the same. 11. Real hidden limit orders for bonds (not just waiting to transmit it after you see a matching bid) 12. Make the limit price selector drop down menu look the same for options and bonds as for equities (with bid/ask/mid shortcuts)
1. I asked about this once. Margin is not a simple calculation; it depends on a lot of different factors, including liquidity, ticker volatility, volume, and a several other factors. 8. You can set liquidation order yourself https://www.interactivebrokers.com/...book/realtimeactivitymonitoring/portfolio.htm
13. Add "Daily P&L" [mark to market] and "SPX Delta" to the Trader Dashboard. Both are shown prominently in the android app but unavailable in the desktop TWS.
14. Overall P$L % column on TWS desktop. This is especially useful for options traders who only track the underlying ticker chart. It's available on android app but not desktop.
3. Im not sure how you expect one button to have multiple functions. How is it supposed to known what you want to do? The solution is to use a modifier with the hotkey. If the hotkey is "1" for instance have your two functions mapped to 1 and ctrl+1 or shift+1...whatever.
WISECRACK TWS wish list : 1. cancel account of those who complain too much 2. zero out user who didn't bother to practice using demo trading platform 3. fine those who didn't bother to read up before contacting Help Desk 4. 5.
