Image shown below. Intraday chart the volume bars on the lower area of a chart are bunched together on the latest few bars.... Any setting fix on this? If you scroll the mouse wheel out and back in, it is a temporary fix until a new candle forms.
Look at the price candle. There is a phrase in trading regarding 'the hard right edge.' TWS makes the lead candle broader -- if you range (left and right) back and forth over time, having that first candle be broader informs you that it's truly the lead candle. No biggie.
After messing with the charts this morning, I still think it is a TWS bug... As it does not happen all the time / each candle. Once you zoom out / in (adjust the bar width) or simply move the mouse cursor over the Volume Bar, it fixes it temporarily.
That's nothing. If you show premarket trading, things can get even worse. And then there's the eternal time & sales bug they refuse to fix. I really can't understand why a brokerage IB's size can't have a better platform.
Yikes, my charts have not been that bad yet on the overlapping. On the time and sales --- IB is well aware of the issues. Maybe they will provide a fix in the near future, as it is not usable.
