tried it for the first time today.....excellent!

It did something that myself and many traders fail to do on occaision......it managed the trade. I also feel more confident with a stop loss in place. I got stopped out once, but it kept the downside to exactly what I was willing to risk.

Man, this was a great add-on. I just wish I could cancel and adjust the stop or target without cancelling the other half.

I like this better than bracket trader though, because bracket trader's UI is just too big, it blocks most of my screen with alot of things I don't need.

I think you can cancel individual legs just by clicking on the line you want to cancel and then hit the cancel key.

BTW, one more new feature in the current beta (784) that many asked for..... one key trading (ie. buy/transmit with one key).

  7. i am acomplete computer boob but bracket trader is so easy to use that i would hate to do without it now.

  8. Good stuff def. I'm losing track of all the new features. You guys should run a forum, or maybe a tips page on maximizing the value of these new features.

by the way do you think they will add auto stop orders based off of market orders(not just limit orders) in the near future ? if not why not?

    thanks

p.s. is there a link to latest beta notes? I don't see it.

p.p.s. can you get that "always on top" function to work? my price ladder keeps coming up underneath the tws screen.

p.p.p.s. Looks like CBOT dow mini quotes live now during the evening session. Your programmers are doing a great job! thanks

    Def,

    A coupleof thoughts/suggestions:

I am not sure you guys are there yet, but what would it take for IB to just incorporate the total functionality now offered by bracket-trader? It is an excellent product that just answers many of your users' prayers.

Something else: I think many newer traders would like to have a really good simulator that uses your TWS real-time data - even if you charged something to download it, or use it, or feed it the data. Possibility?
