Charlie "Two and a half minutes" Sheen, can get high, can get drunk, can get worldwide press coverage about "his B.S.", can skip filming to go to rehab, but... he can't badmouth the bosses. You can't deny the guy is funny, even when angry. http://newsfeed.time.com/2011/02/25/after-charlie-sheens-rant-cbs-pulls-plug-on-two-and-a-half-men/ After Charlie Sheen's Rant, CBS Pulls Plug on Two and a Half_Men By: Glen Levy (5 hours ago) Mario Anzuoni/Reuters/Corbis In the words of CBS and Warner Bros., due to the "totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition," production has ceased on the top-rated sitcom Two and a Half Men. The 45-year old Sheen, who seems to be doing his best impression of how to spectacularly end a career in showbiz, gave a bizarre and incoherent radio interview with Alex Jones in which he tore into his executive producer Chuck Lorre and other targets such as Alcoholics Anonymous, calling it a "bootleg cult" with a 5% success rate, compared to his own "100%" success rate. Going down the same path that some would say was already taken by Mel Gibson, Sheen's spleen seemed to carry elements of anti-semitism. "There's something this side of deplorable that a certain Chaim Levine -- yeah, that's Chuck's real name -- mistook this rock star for his own selfish exit strategy, bro. Check it, Alex: I embarrassed him in front of his children and the world by healing at a pace that his unevolved mind cannot process." But Sheen wasn't done. "Last I checked, Chaim, I spent close to the last decade effortlessly and magically converting your tin cans into pure gold. And the gratitude I get is this charlatan chose not to do his job, which is to write," he said. While Lorre had no comment on either Sheen's remarks or the production shutting down, the increasingly erratic Sheen would not go quietly. In what the website TMZ dubbed an "open letter," Sheen called Lorre a "contaminated little maggot" and wished the producer "nothing but pain." He also wants his fans to start a protest movement for him, which may be difficult considering that he could be down to single figures on that front. "I urge all my beautiful and loyal fans who embraced this show for almost a decade to walk with me side-by-side as we march up the steps of justice to right this unconscionable wrong," he wrote. Because of the already existing hiatus in the schedule due to Sheen's rehab for reported drug and alcohol abuse, there were only going to be 20 episodes rather than the usual 24 in a season. This will now become 16, which is an additional headache the network could have done without. "It may be lonely up here but I sure like the view, Alex," said Sheen. At this rate, Sheen may need to get used to spending a lot more time by himself. (via AP)
http://theglobalherald.com/transcript-of-charlie-sheen-meltdown-on-alex-jones-radio-show/12032/ Transcript of Charlie Sheen Meltdown on Alex Jones Radio Show Charlie Sheen has had something of a meltdown in a radio interview with Alex Jones on American radio. CBS have this week cancelled the sitcom âTwo and a Half Menâ, which stars Sheen. The star of Platoon has had problems with drug addiction and is separating from his wife. The Alex Jones Show is a nationally syndicated news/talk show based out of Austin, TX. The âdynamic, hard-hitting radioâ host claims friendship with Mr Sheen whilst overseeing his sensational rant. The transcript of the interview is as follows: Alex Jones: You donât ever wanna go there, you donât ever wanna defend yourself, but youâve told me privately most of the stuff, names, itâs not true, but what is going on with the women in your life? Charlie Sheen: The goddesses? Alex the goddesses, let me just say this about the goddesses, I donât believe the term is good enough, but when youâre bound by these terrestrial descriptions, you must use the best choice available, right? Alex Jones: Yes Charlie Sheen: So if you think about it, dude, itâs like Iâm 0 for 3 with marriage, with never an excuse, but like in baseball, the scoreboard doesnât lie, never has. So what we all have is a marriage of the heart. To sully or contaminate or radically disrespect this union with a shameful contract is something that I will leave to the amateurs and the Bible grippers. And I just gotta add this cos there was a whole firestorm yesterday about Brooke been a part of our crew and let me just say this, this is all Iâm gonna say about it, where there were four, there are now three. Goodbye Brooke good luck in your travels, youâre going to need it, badly. Alex Jones: So Brooke did go along with you but sheâs not there now? Charlie Sheen: No sheâs not there now and we are and, I donât know, winning, anyone? Rhymes with winning, anyone? Thatâll be us. Man, didnât make the rules. Ooops. Alex Jones: Charlie, Iâve known you for six and a half years or so and I knew you when you were completely clean and Iâve known you since, but, the point is, now, Iâve never seen you when I was out at your house or talked to you on the phone, so energised as you are now â I mean youâre on fire as nails told the news yesterday. I mean I agree with that description. Charlie Sheen: As I think it was nails that said, and Iâm really really flattered, cos he got it right. I mean he might be nails, but Iâm frikin bayonets, you know. Iâm battle tested man. Iâm tired, Iâm so tired of pretending like my life isnât perfect and bitchin and just winning every second and Iâm not perfect and bitchin and just deliverying the goods at every frikin turn, because, look what Iâm dealing with man, Iâm dealing with fools and trolls, dealing with soft targets and its just, you know its just strafing runs in my underwear before my first cup of coffee because I donât have time for these clowns. I donât have time for their judgement and their stupidity and you know they lay down with their ugly wives in front of their ugly children and look at their loser lives and then they look at me and they say âI canât process itâ well no you never will stop trying, just sit back and enjoy the show. You know? Alex Jones: Wow, well I am speechless. Later weâre going to get into Apocalpse Now, but what comes to mind is when we were there a few weeks ago watching it in your home theatre when Colonel Kurtz is saying âYou can kill me, but you donât have the right to judge meâ Charlie Sheen: Boom, thatâs the whole movie, thatâs life. Thatâs life, thereâs nobility in that, thereâs focus, itâs genuine, itâs crystal and itâs pure and its available to everybody. So just shut your traps and put down your McDonaldâs, your magazines, your TMZ and the rest of it and focus on something that matters. But you canât focus on things that matter if all youâve been is asleep for forty years. Funny how sleep rhymes with sheep. You know. Anyway. Weâre getting off topic. We donât care anymore Alex, we donât care. Letâs get to the work business because thereâs been a lot of speculation, a lot of rumours. Imagine that with the media. Alex Jones: Well sure, letâs go over that, because when I was there, two weeks ago at your house, you looked great, totally clean, you were working out super hard when I went and worked out with you at that private gym I mean they put you through an incredible workout, you know theyâre exercising in the pool, and youâre saying âlook, Iâm ready to go to work. Iâm ready to go right nowâ and then they add the lie that you donât have a hernia, well Iâve seen your hernia, Iâve go thte same hernia in my belly button and your hernia was hurt, but again you donât wanna defend yourself on that and, you know, tell folks the truth about it, but the point is, it seem that there are some people in your life that are trying to demonise you, theyâre doing these vanity cards, you know talking about how theyâre going to outlive you, it seems pretty darn aggressive. Charlie Sheen: Yeah I didnât care about that vanity card. In fact I went right straight home with that one and just dispelled that. And that was actually, you know, one of the few compliments that clown has paid me in freakin almost a decade. But Iâm excited to get back to work and not to completely discount what you just talked about, if you bring up these turds, these little [inaudible] losers, thereâs no reason to then, you know, bring them back into the fold because I have real fans, they have nothing. They have zero. They have that night and I will forget about them as my last image of them exits my beautiful home. and they will get out there and they will sell me and they will lose. And they will lose the rest of their lives as they think about me and my life the rest of their lives, so, bring me a challenge somebody, becuase, you know, it just ainât there. Winning. Alex Jones: But youâre ready to go to work, right now? Charlie Sheen: Well yeah but Iâm tired of being told âwell you canât talk about that and you canât talk about thatâ BULL S-H-I-T. Let me just say this, thereâs nothing. I just think itâs deplorable that a certain Heim Levine, thatâs Chuckâs real name by the way, mistook this rock star for his own selfish exit strategy bro. Check it Alex, I embarassed him in front of his children and the world by healing at a pace that his uninvolved mind cannot process. Ok last I checked Heim, Iâve spent, I think, I donât know, the last decade effortlessly and magically converting your tin cans into gold and the gratitude I get is this charlatan chose not to do his job, which is to write. Clearly someone who believes he is above the law. Well, youâve been warned dude. Bring it. Alex Jones: Charlie, Everybody that I know that knows you, and I know you well, talks about how, behind the scenes, you give incredible amounts of money to charity, you help people, you give things to everybody, you go out and help firemen and schoolchidren, you are genuinely a nice guy. But you always just let people attack you and lie and the years Iâve known you and the years that people whoâve known you for decades, they say, Charlie is on fire and when he came out of what heâs been in the lastÃ_ seven months, he is not putting up with people trying to push him around anymore, is that fair to say? Charlie Sheen: Itâs yeah, itâs an understatement, you know itâs, Iâm sorry man I got magic and I got poetry at my fingertips most of the time and this includes naps. Iâm an F-18 and I will destroy you in the air and I will deploy my ordnance to the ground.
The show is only getting cancelled for the rest of this season from what I understand. Two and a Half Men is hilarious, it's a shame the rest of the season is getting cancelled. Charlie's character in the show is exactly his personality in real life! He's a funny man, and loves to have fun. Tons of money, drinking, drugs, porn stars - let's all admit it - we want his life!
I have no problem with him enjoying his life. I can't say that I live much differently. I just wonder if he pals around with 'porn stars' because it makes him feel better about himself. As if that looks cool. There's plenty of hot women out there that aren't porn actresses. Also, that he's been married 3 times. At least it sounds like he finally learned his lesson.
Na if you read about his life, he's been on again and off again with porn stars and strippers etc. for many years. I don't think he's doing it just to "look cool"...those are probably the only girls who can party like he can! And I highly doubt he's learned his lesson. Trouble with the law, rehab, angry women, he's been down this exact road before. I see no reason to believe he's changed at all.
The only downside is that probably 100+ people are out of a job because of him. Unless they decide on a spin-off with some of the characters.... Charlie should marry Lilo, (Lohan that is) would that be the perfect couple...
