Baron, It's minor, but it sure would be nice to be able to embed Tweets into forum discussions or thread on occasion. Right now, embedding them comes out as just text. How hard would it be to allow for embedding of the tweet in the tweet box it comes in? For example, instead of this: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/LoganMohtashami">@LoganMohtashami</a> And why <a href="https://twitter.com/CNBC">@CNBC</a> has dropped housing as its darling and moved on to automakers</p>— Dividend Master (@DividendMaster) <a href="https://twitter.com/DividendMaster/statuses/377429568971239424">September 10, 2013</a></blockquote> ******** async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> It should show this: https://twitter.com/DividendMaster/status/377429568971239424 complete with a link to retweet, etc... Just a thought.
Does this work? https://dev.twitter.com/docs/embedded-tweets It's twitters instructions on how to embed tweets, but then maybe this forum doesn't support it.
Twitter and Facebook are trash which will rot your brain. I never understood either when they came out and I don't understand why anyone is on them today. I realize lots of people use them. But does GM really sell more cars using Facebook? Or do they sell cars because they make good cars and there actually are patriotic people who would rather buy American than from the enemy?
I don't use facebook, but Twitter is nothing more than a news-forum for me. I get updates on financial releases or analysts info all in one place.
