"The head of Turkey’s central bank ruled out a total ban of cryptocurrencies and said a wide range of crypto regulations is coming within two weeks" https://www.coindesk.com/turkeys-central-bank-head-says-crypto-regs-coming-denies-total-ban-ahead
I believe regulation will help accelerate crypto adoption and find this to be a lot more positive than the original ban rumor that was circulating.
Was it in Bitcoin? There are big money interests associated with Bitcoin and “Greasing the palms” of a few potential influential detractors in an under regulated alternative form of payment is more than conceivable.
I think it's for all tokens. All I know is regulation will 1) define the rules better and make it easier to punish bad actors and 2) legitimize crypto even more and accerate adoption.
