The top writer for Fox News show Tucker Carlson Tonight resigned after it was discovered that he had been posting viciously racist, sexist, and homophobic comments on an online forum using a pseudonym. According to a report from CNN’s Oliver Darcy, Blake Neff had been working as the lead writer for the Fox show since 2016 after coming from the conservative website The Daily Caller, which was co-founded by Carlson and where Neff wrote more than 2,000 posts. A Fox News spokesperson confirmed in a statement to Mediaite that Neff had resigned. A check of Neff’s Twitter account on Friday evening found that it had been deleted. Neff’s abrupt departure came after CNN, via an anonymous tipster, discovered years of posts by Neff on the message board AutoAdmit, in which the former Fox writer posted numerous bigoted and derogatory comments about women, Black, Asian, and LGBTQ people. Some of the racist posts authored by Neff came from as recently as two weeks ago. “In a recent article in the Dartmouth Alumni Magazine, Neff said, ‘Anything [Carlson is] reading off the teleprompter, the first draft was written by me.'” Darcy reported. “He also acknowledged the show’s influence, telling the magazine, ‘We’re very aware that we do have that power to sway the conversation, so we try to use it responsibly.'” Carlson’s show has been repeatedly accused of stoking racism and xenophobia, while claiming the threat of white supremacy is a “hoax.” Recently, advertisers have been fleeing the show to avoid being tied to his incendiary comments, even as his ratings have continued to place him at the top of cable news . https://www.mediaite.com/tv/lead-wr...acist-sexist-comments-online-using-pseudonym/

What is this screed? A guy resigned because he said some mean things and he's a public figure. This isn't even news. It's an attempt to indirectly assassinate Tucker Carlson's character through some third or fourth degree connection (Tucker likely has numerous writers). Would you feel like you got a fair shake if a friend of your second cousin said something rude and you got blamed for it? What ever happened to judging people by the content of their character? Sure, this guy was an asshole. I agree. However, I haven't heard Tucker do anything but question the narrative. Obviously being questioned is responded to with "you're a racist" which is just strawmanning. The weakest possible form of argument and the kind a person with an underdeveloped frontal cortex uses because their logical facilities are nonexistent. TIL questioning the narrative is racist. A sure way to silence your opposition is to prevent discourse that questions their motives. If Tucker is "racist" then Don Lemon is a hyper-racist. I have yet to hear Tucker use a racial epithet or imply any white supremacist ideology and yet I hear Lemon, Cooper, Stelter, and other anchors actively attacking white people on the basis of their skin color. CNN and MSNBC regularly roll tape attacking white people strictly on the basis of their skin color. It's like the Democrats are reverting to their dixiecrat roots but now their target is white people. What can you say - the Democrats have always been racists. I suppose their racist tendencies were simply in remission after Bill Clinton got impeached (you do remember the crime bill that disproportionately targeted blacks, right?) At some point you will have to come to terms with your hate for white people. You will some day realize that you are the evil you allegedly claim to be against. Much like the term "racist", "white supremacist" has lost all of it's meaning because it's applied to any point in time when a person, who's skin color is white, questions the narrative of the alleged protected class. The guy resigned AFTER CNN asked Fox News to comment on this guy's history and he was/is the HEAD WRITER for Tucker Carlson, in fact, the guy himself says that what Tucker reads on his teleprompter COMES directly from him. In fact, there were numerous examples of guy's rant on the forum that show up on Tucker's shows the very next day Is that person writing your teleprompter content? Is he your head writer? That's the very point, the CONTENT was supplied by this racist asshole and Tucker was reading it to his audience - you can't say Tucker was disagreeing with any of it Yes, because when we want fully developed highly logical frontal cortex arguments, we have to listen to some Tucker Carlson for our grasp on the great metaphysical content.
