To Jeff Zucker and the anchors who work for him at CNN, Pelosi isn't just a politician, she's the leader of the party -- their party. The party under whose banner Zucker has said he may someday run for office. When America's most powerful Democrat speaks, CNN listens with pen in hand. These are marching orders, and the network swung into action immediately. The rundowns of every primetime show were scrapped and rebuilt. Gone were the segments about office towers in Moscow and Carter Page's spying and Don Jr. going to prison. In their place, long editorials about health care. The Democratic health care plan is sensible and necessary, CNN told us. The Republican plan - cruel and heartless. Between 7 p.m. and midnight Tuesday night, every show on CNN followed Nancy Pelosi's instructions. Every single show talked about health care, and every single one channeled Nancy Pelosi's views on health care. She could have been writing the scripts; maybe she was. Nobody hit that topic harder than an anchor called Chris Cuomo. Cuomo is the son of the former Democratic governor of New York and the brother of the current Democratic governor of New York. He spends a lot of time telling you what a committed journalist he is, probably because his instincts are so obviously political. On Tuesday night, the governor's brother read his party's talking points as if off a cue card. Close your eyes and imagine you're listening to a 30-second attack ad on the radio during campaign season. See if you can tell the difference. "Our president said today that the GOP will be known as the party of health care, but it seems to me he left out a word," Cuomo said. "Based on his administration's latest move with the ACA, the president will make his party about removing health care. This president and his party have no plan to provide care to tens of millions if the ACA is gone. Why? Why? Why? Welcome to the new normal." "They're taking your healthcare away." If you're waiting to hear the "Paid for by the Kamala Harris for President committee" line, they left that out. They shouldn't have. The law requires it, but they did anyway. On Pelosi's orders, it was "Health Care Week" on CNN. And they were back at it on Wednesday morning, assiduously. Starting at 6:00 a.m., every single show on CNN's morning lineup and all through the day regurgitated Pelosi's talking points to the word about health care. Republicans will make you sick, only Democrats will make you well. Every single show made that point. If you were stuck in the airport, it was like living in North Korea. A speaker bolted to the wall above your head blaring an endless loop of propaganda you can't turn off. Video We have no idea what they've been showing over on CNN for the past four hours. Ranting, Raving Alex Jones Laughed Out Of A Texas Chicken Restaurant The conspiracy theorist screams at hecklers after his second dinner. Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones appeared to be looking for a fight as he stood in the middle of a Texas restaurant and traded insults with other diners. “C’mon!” he goaded. “Big man, aren’t you?” But instead of a fight, Jones was laughed out of the establishment, according to the footage posted by the Houston Chronicle. The incident took place at a Lucy’s Fried Chicken location in Austin, The Chronicle reported. Jones and his wife had gone out for a second dinner after the latter wasn’t satisfied with the first meal they ate elsewhere. In the footage, Jones can be seen standing and holding his phone, recording the scene, as he shouted at the diners around him, some of whom giddily insulted him back. “You ain’t American!” he screamed at one point. “You’re a slob!” On his website, Jones said diners cursed at him while he ate and then heckled him when he tried to leave. “They baited me like a matador does with a bull,” he said to justify his tirade, which included a greatest hits of Infowars insults, from “libtards” to “extra chromosomes” to rants about “free speech in America.” “Go listen to your NPR and all your other bullshit,” he yelled. ”America and the world is awake to anti-free speech scum like you and bullies like you.” “Awww, snowflake,” someone replied. “You’ve all got an instinct not to breed,” Jones yelled at the diners. ”Your body rebels against you. None of you have kids.” “We’ve got three of them,” one of the hecklers replied. As he left, the laughing and jeering continued. “Bye! There is an old saying in criminal law about the length of time it takes a jury to deliberate in a criminal case. If it is super quick then almost always guilty, if it takes a really inordinate amount of time it is because there is no consensus and the verdict is almost always not guilty. Yep. the other thing is the prosecutor/mueller was still trying to create a crime by getting Trump to sit for an entrapment. Mueller knew early on that the obstruction allegation was a dud and that collusion was a dud unless it was part of criminal conpiracy which is a crime- collusion, not so much. Those must have been exciting times when Mueller wanted Trump to sit for him and Trump would come on TV every day and say that he would love to and couldnt wait. And that went on for a longggggg time. Meanwhile, Mueller is sitting there with a pile of shit that is not a crime but is embarassing enough to get Trump to lie his way out to minimize it. Most of it related to issues such as deutchbank, condos sales in Crapistan, a new Trump Tower in Moscow etc. Someone idiot saved Trump on that by finally getting through to him. Trump had a great week going when Barr released that memo then he decided to force the DOJ to side with a lower court ruling and argue the affordable care act is unconstitutional - over Bill Barr’s objections as it turns out. To put this into perspective the Affordable Care Act impacts every single American. It’s huge news. Even larger news is that the Republican Party and Trump have no idea what they will do if DOJ is successful. So, yes, this is a big news story. To say it’s some plot is ridiculous if you understand the scope of the potential impact. I think a better question for Tucker is why is not being treated as a major news story by Fox? One in four Americans below the retirement age has a preexisting medical condition and there are millions more that get their health insurance through the exchanges.
