Overvalued before, looks more fairly valued now. Historic uptrend, no debt, making some money. I have considered shares but I am now leaning toward a three month bull call spread, aiming for a 1:1 return. I wonder: How do these lawsuit triggered by substantial drop/miss work? do they normally succeed or affect the stock price for a long time? Missed forecast by about 2%, dropped 30% approximately. Is this enough to trigger such a drop or is there anything else I am not seeing? https://finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=TTD&p=w
Seems like most people have turned on TTD and are selling like mad. If you believe in fundamentals supposedly they are losing market share to AppLovin (APP). That explains the meteoric rise of APP. My experience is these broken momentum stocks keep droping or go sideways until their business improves. Lululemon or Chipotle comes to mind. Seems like the only company I can think of where the price went down substantially but it still came back was Crowdstrike but their problem was a (supposed) one off of bad internal software QA.
TTD buy the dip? TTD sell the rip? What happened on 13 Feb 2025? It must be some horrific news. There were rips, no dips. R.I.P.
