Trust of US media in ‘free fall,’ lowest in world

The public’s trust in news outlets is among the lowest in the free world, a trend that has spiraled downward for years and appears to continue to do so.

Regardless if it is trust in legacy or alternative media, the decline since President Joe Biden took office has registered in double digits, according to the latest I&I/TIPP Media Trust Index shared with Secrets.

In the I&I/TIPP survey, just 38% trusted establishment media, such as the Washington Post. And only 29% said it trusted alternative news sources, including conservative outlets.

I didn't really look, its one of your posts.

"Median age of CNN viewers has grown from 61 in 2015 to 64 in 2021". This means if you are putting your money into 18-49, it's not on a network channel.

And Fox viewers are older. Well a lot are dead this year so that might affect it.

There is no argument that Fox is way ahead of the other networks, for the under educated and elderly zombie brain, their demo, opinion is the same as news.

  8. People are learning - that’s just what media IS.

How do you have the chance to talk to millions of people, and not turn it into a benefit for you or your friends?

that’s leaving money on the table. People don’t do that.
