"Trade wars are easily won." "US has the safest currency in the world." "We hold all the cards in our talks with China." His actions will end up costing the American consumer big time. Please free to add to the list.
Wouldn't this thread work better if it were *constrained* to some degree? Like, "This Week In Trump Dumps" or something? Otherwise...
The alternatives? "Let's put a heavy tax and Wall Street and anyone who trades more than once a year" "Free college and health care for all...U.S. citizen or not" "I don't care if your family came here from Poland in the 1960s...you're still chipping in for reparations" "Venezuela only messed up because they didn't tax and regulate enough!"
I'm not a US resident or tax-payer so it isn't really my quarrel. But I'm very very happy Trump is keeping socialists out of the White House. Whatever economic damage he might do will not be as bad as what they would do.
quite often people outside the US actually have a clearer view... you see the election results in the UK, Italy, Australia.... people see what's happening in the US and want the same kind of leaders. The Trump Derangement Syndrome has gotten to a lot of people in the US, because the fake news media's 24/7 bombardment. and I am gonna say this to hurt a lot of people's feelings lol.... people affected by the TDS are really sad, because the Dem elites brain wash them with agenda's that don't benefit these people at all.... they are just pawns used in the elites' power grab.
I know what you're saying. The UK media is obsessed with Trump. But what's happening in the US apart from his tweets is ignored. I do believe if you want a clear view of current affairs, don't watch the news.
Exactly. If people just watched the markets (including corrections), economic data, corporate earnings reports, etc. they wouldn't be nearly as triggered. If the market falls 0.3% because Trump tweets something, people scream about him causing volatility. Did these people watch the markets in 2008?
I have read on good authority that Trump is actually responsible for everything that has gone on in the markets for the past 11 years. Man! Talk about 'hiding your light under a bushel basket'!!! The guy should get out more -- find a platform and take some credit.
