ET trolls probably, gnashing their teeth. Now, will Joe Biden go out of his basement to debate President Donald Trump? Extreme liberal Democrats telling him not to debate President Donald Trump. What is Joe Biden afraid of? His own shadow? LOL

  2. It is a tough spot for his vp pick too. If he picks some unknown- that would even include susan rice unless you are a beltway watcher- that person has to get out and about to make her case.

Except that will only exacerbate the view that one person on the ticket is out and about but the other only goes out for a run to Arby's every other week. Not good. Picking a vp will only move the little attention that Sasquatch Joe is getting now over to the vp. I mean, let's face it, there is not exactly a demand out there to learn more about Joe. The first 50 years is sort of enough for most people in the country.

  3. Trump went to kiss The Sheldon ring again but it didn't go too well and now Republicans are trying desperately to woo Soros.

GOP officials panicked after ‘contentious’ Trump phone call with one of the Republican Party’s top donors

According to a report from Politico, Donald Trump may have alienated one of the Republican Party’s top donors last week after complaining to Las Vegas businessman Sheldon Adelson that he didn’t think that billionaire was doing enough to bolster his faltering re-election campaign.

That phone call — described as “contentious” — has Republican Party officials panicked that Adelson may hold back million-dollar contributions to the party in an election year where GOP candidates are already struggling to hang onto their seats.

According to one insider who was privy to the call, “it was apparent the president had no idea how much Adelson, who’s donated tens of millions of dollars to pro-Trump efforts over the years, had helped him. Adelson chose not to come back at Trump.”

Word of the turn the call took has shaken up high-ranking Republican officials who have previously been able to count on major contributions from the billionaire, with Politico reporting, “They rushed to smooth things over with him, but the damage may have been done.”

    “The president needs the money.

“Now, Republican leaders are pleading to billionaires for help. Trump advisers are pining for new outside groups to form, and the White House is growing anxious to see what Adelson, who has pumped hundreds of millions of dollars into Republican super PACs over the past decade, will do.”

The VP slot probably, has more attention now because assuming Joe Biden wins, if he is incapacitated in any way, the VP becomes the US President by default. Heaven help us. So far, the possible choices looks very low on the qualifications to be US President. Stacey Abrams, Val Demmings, Kamala Harris and Susan Rice? I still think the Democrats will slip in Hillary Clinton before long. Either on the front end by declaring Joe Biden unfit for whatever reason, say the rape allegations or thru the back end by naming Hillary Clinton as the VP.

The market has Trump winning at 40%. I don't get why, but you got to respect the market. Any chance at all? Of course there is -- Biden sex scandal or Russia or China or WWIII. Anything can happen, especially with Trump the greatest showman

Here's what I want you to do:

Keep your smug sense of bullshit superiority. Tell your friends Trump has no chance. Tell everyone! He has no chance. You'd have to be stupid to think otherwise!

Wait wasn't this what the pink hat bolsheviks were saying last time?

Wasn't Joe supposed to pick the vp by now? They were saying last Saturday right?

If I were running Trump's campaign, or at least his media director, I would do two things.
    Actually three.

The first.... which is actually why I changed it from 2 to 3.... I'd shit-can that stupid commercial that has the person calling the police and getting put into voice-mail. Some have said its a great commercial.... its stupid. A waste of money. Trash it. Worst commercial I've ever seen. Its dumb.

Second.... I would soooooooo play up the increase in taxes that is coming down the pike if Joe wins. I'd hire producers and writers that are the quality of the Lincoln Project producers and writers, and their video edit teams of course.... and I would run some serious spots in the prime-time hours on the high viewership networks in all the swing states. If you can work a senior citizen Social Security angle here... flood Fl with that one.

Third and by far the most important... and I'd go to press with these like yesterday..... and these would be the most powerful of all....

I would inundate the airways with every friggin penny the campaign has calling Joe out to a debate before September 1st. Every last penny on every last channel.
Its a lose lose for Joe.

Edit... ya know Joe always likes to portray himself as this street scrapper, I wrote about that 2 years ago here, (i should search my posts with keyword 'temper')....so.... lets see what ya got Joe.

You forgot one very effective campaign technique. Buy out ads that simply say "is this what you want in a president?" with him screwing up reading from a teleprompter, forgetting what town he's in, forgetting who his wife is, sniffing little girls, replaying his passionate argument against integration in 1960, and talking about kids rubbing on his leg hair in pools.

THAT might sink him. There's a lot of people just casually looking the other way at all of Joe's gaffes but if you throw them in their face 24/7 for the next 60 days he'll stand no chance. He doesn't even want to debate Trump because he's so forgetful he can't even hold a canned conversation with a pundit.

The democrats had a very good chance running someone like Yang who could bridge the gap between moderates in a way Obama did. Well spoken, articulate, and thoughful in what they said even if you disagreed. The virtual antithesis of Trump's favored "bull in a china shop after an 8 ball of coke" style. Instead they put this geriatric dementia case in because, I assume, their logic was "people will think Biden means 4 more years of Obama!"

Rumor has it corn pop is still shaking in his boots.
