  1. And, no one listens or cares. You can directly blame a huge portion of problems in the USA to this. Trump knows the system is broken.

Watch and listen when Trump tells the truth:

  2. 60 minutes did a good program on this but John Oliver cuts to the chase.

BOTH parties will only support shameless scroungers and/or very well connected candidates.

  4. HOGWASH! Bernie is all about securing political clout with freebies paid for to some at the expense of others. Bernie Sanders is a f*n Socialist. (See Cuba, Venezuela, N. Korea.... EVERYBODY is poor except the ruling elite. It all looks fine in the early stages... so long as there is somebody's money to appropriate... but when that's all gone... VENEZUELA!)

  5. Simpler times in 1955 when Azimov wrote the short story "Franchise" and it already seemed to them that things were getting too complicated and expensive. I loved this one as a kid, I managed to collect virtually everything Azimov ever wrote, no mean feat. Now With A.I. on a hockey stick chart rise since 2010, yeah, ok lets do this instead ;)

"In the future, the United States has converted to an "electronic democracy" where the computer Multivac selects a single person to answer a number of questions. Multivac will then use the answers and other data to determine what the results of an election would be, avoiding the need for an actual election to be held.

The story centers around Norman Muller, the man chosen as "Voter of the Year" in the 2008 U.S. presidential election. Although the law requires him to accept the dubious honour, he is not sure that he wants the responsibility of representing the entire electorate, worrying that the result will be unfavorable and he will be blamed."
