Trump... "Rough around the edges" as a politician... However

Discussion in 'Politics' started by Scataphagos, Aug 11, 2016.

  1. We all know career politicians couch their words carefully (aka, LIE THROUGH THEIR FARKIN' TEETH TO GET WHAT THEY WANT).

Trump, however is not a career politician. He's used to being THE BOSS in his own world. He hasn't needed to "couch his words" as he's never been afraid of offending anyone or any group. (In his world, "the boss is the boss" and doesn't need to kiss anybody's ass.)

The fact that he probably needs to "learn to be a politician", is a bit rough around the edges, and sometimes blurts out something he might regret he didn't properly "couch"... does not make him less deserving to be POTUS. (Harry Truman was no saint in this regard... and LBJ was a complete TOTAL ASSHOLE in private.)

America doesn't need more "polished politicians". America needs someone who will make decisions and policy which favor American in general while supporting the US Constitution.

Hillary is all about NONE OF THAT! And Odumbo basically said, "FUCK THE CONSTITUTION"... AND WE LET HIM GET AWAY WITH DOING SO!

    Shame on us.

    :(

Yeah.... but there is also a difference between PC and manners. Call me old fashioned, but there is no excuse for bad manners. I can live with the anti-pc stuff.... but manners towards others.... he needs a little polish there.

  4. Many would agree with his need for a "bit of political polish"... but that's small stuff considering what's at risk here.

The bigger picture is more WAAAAYYYYYY important that his lack of polish at this point.

Personally, I'd rather a man "speak his mind" than "lie through is teeth with political polish". I mean, seriously... haven't we had enough of that?

    Trump still gets my vote.

Agree. And I don't think he's "dangerous" either. I bet he's fun to hang out with. He acts just like a lot of my friends do.

OMG... He'd be a real hoot if he drank! ;) Thats too bad to. I'd love to tie one on with the D-man.

  7. I don't see him as "dangerous" at all. He understands he can't use nuclear weapons as a first strike under any circumstances. Hillary, OTOH, is an egomaniacal psycho-bitch who might start WWIII with nukes out of a bitching rage!

The Left claims "Trump is dangerous". HOGWASH! It's Hillary who is existentially dangerous to America!!

You guys in the USA have a bad problem. Both candidates are unelectable as sane rational people. 2 wall bangers if there were ever so. Sick in the top story as judged by their own words and actions. But don't panic we are here to offer some help in your hour of need.

The strain is so great they have both just about cracked up.

I have a Constitutional reform proposal. Yes get an elected President but only to be as Head of State without executive powers and all the pressure is off. Either that or have all the living Presidents in a Presidential group who can only make joint decisions. After all you have to admit they have a lot of experience in the job, are on big pensions and would I think gladly accept. The current newly elected President could be like the Chairman and spokesperson. With the RED button firmly out of the way. That way if the POTUS goes more insane he or she can be out voted before committing to World War 3.

    Yep folks its that serious.

  9. Good idea indeed!

  10. So, you're saying.. if he farted at the dinner table that would disqualify him from being POTUS? (In Korean society, it's not only OK to "sloop" your noodles and soup, it's also OK to fart at the dinner table as acceptable custom.)
