After 8 years of watching the imposter Obama trash the country at every turn, it was sure great to see Trump give this speech.

Couple that in with US vetoing the UN resolution on Israel, it has been a pretty good day.

John Harwood claims the bottom 60% will pay more in taxes.

    http://www.taxpolicycenter.org/taxv...-most-benefits-going-those-making-300000-plus

According to the tax policy center
"The conference agreement on the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act would reduce taxes by about $1,600 on average in 2018, with the biggest benefit going to households making between $308,000 and $733,000, according to a new analysis by the Tax Policy Center. Middle-income taxpayers would pay about $900 less than under current law, about 1.6 percent of after-tax income, while the lowest income households would get an even more modest tax cut compared to current law."

Harwood said the bottom 60% would pay more. This article by the same group Harwood cites clearly states the middle-income and low income still get tax cuts.

I heard part of his speech... I thought it was excellent.
But... I still would have preferred tax rate cut for individuals.
So I wonder if he is going to be able to deliver on the ideals he expressed in the speech or if it will all get destroyed by the establishment.

John Harwood has no credibility as a journalist... wikileaks provided us with that proof.

He said 2027 not 2018. Oh year and you can put your $900 away in a jar, you'll need it after they slash medicare and social security to pay for this tax cut

Yes--he is turning out to be a great leader. Much more that most could have imagined. I too wish that more individual taxes would be cut and actually that we would have one rate across the board, but it seems like that will never happen. I would say this though---Corporations pass their taxes on to consumers and so in reality individuals are paying all taxes anyway. So, a corporate rate cut is good for the individual and can be considered a tax cut for them.
