Trump this week shared a video about the virus from a doctor who says she is also “exposing incubus and succubus.” The video was removed from social media for containing false information and supporting unproven treatments for COVID-19. But Trump on Tuesday seemed puzzled as to why he’s not as well-regarded as Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx, another member of the White House coronavirus task force. “They’re highly thought of,” he said. “But nobody likes me. There was one problem: Mr. Trump had not actually been invited on that day by the Yankees, according to one person with knowledge of Mr. Trump’s schedule. His announcement surprised both Yankees officials and the White House staff.
Yeah still true he was not invited to pitch or scheduled to pitch but felt left out when fauci got some spotlight...

Seems to be a common affliction affecting politicians: The compelling need to be liked. “Maybe if I act like Santa Claus and give stuff away, I will be loved by all”, type of subconscious thinking. Perhaps it stems from being looked at as being odd by peers from school age days. What I would like to see is Trump visit some of those people who wrote letters to the Whitehouse, both critical and supportive of Trump with a 5 to 8 minute recorded video played in the news and or social media of the meeting. Perhaps more people will feel our leadership is trying to be responsive to the issues that concern them if our President takes the time to meet and discuss the issues directly with them. It may also be a good, albeit potentially risky, political move.
