In an earlier post I had said that I hope that Trump just sends Congress a copy of the state of the union report by Twitter- one tweet at a time- and then hold the address outside of DC. Looks like he is working on the "outside DC" plan unless Pelosi shapes up. Thank you for reading the forum Mr. Trump. Go out to the grange in Cut Bank, Montana and deliver your address. Now, let's work on the Twitter piece, Mr. Trump. We know you can do it.
At this point he should just say "thank you anyway" to Pelosi, we'll do it some where else, and by invitation only. Then make it a MAGAfest.
Definitely. There should pizza and beer there, with halftime cheerleaders in skimpy outfits. Just because there is no life or fun in DC does not mean that it cannot be found out amongst normal people. You know that if it were held in Montana, that Freddy Foreskin would come down from Moosedump Village with his ski mask on to get in on the fun. Can't blame him. Winters get long in Canada.
I was thinking silver platters full of burgers and fries, but pizza and a brewski will do just as good. MAGA!
Yeh, I see that you are a flexible kind of guy. I hope your wife recognizes how lucky she is. Lobster is good too, but, Montana lobster? - not so much.
How about in front of Mt. Rushmore with camera angles so that the press can go wild with positioning his face with other great presidents!
Capital idea!!! Or maybe hold it from the Canadian side just to be multicultural and send a message to Fake News. It's all good.
Trump calls Pelosi's bluff, says he's 'honoring' invitation to deliver State of the Union address at Capitol "I will be honoring your invitation, and fulfilling my Constitutional duty, to deliver important information to the people and Congress of the United States of America regarding the State of our Union," Trump wrote in a letter to Pelosi on Wednesday afternoon. ________________ That was 2 hours ago. Now we have this. Pelosi says Trump not invited. The speaker of the House can prevent Congress from entering a joint session, increasing the likelihood that Trump will not get to deliver his speech on Tuesday.
