In a recorded call, Trump called Bob Woodward on February 7 and revealed that he thought the coronavirus pandemic was far more dire than what he had been saying publicly, the Washington Post reports. Said Trump: “You just breathe the air and that’s how it’s passed. And so that’s a very tricky one. That’s a very delicate one. It’s also more deadly than even your strenuous flu. This is deadly stuff.” “At that time, Trump was telling the nation that the virus was no worse than a seasonal flu, predicting it would soon disappear, and insisting that the U.S. government had it totally under control. It would be several weeks before he would publicly acknowledge that the virus was no ordinary flu and that it could be transmitted through the air.” The interview was recorded and is detailed in Woodward’s new book, Rage.
I also heard that Trump fancied dipping brown babies in oil, lighting them up, and letting them roll down hills in California.
I notice a pattern with the Democrats and it seems to be very effective with getting under the skin of the Republicans... Each time Trump makes a personal attack (e.g. nasty, looks stupid) on Biden / Harris... Within days someone releases info about something Trump has said that will upset some in his voting base. Simply, use their own propaganda against them. It's a tactic used in WWII by France & Britain against the Nazi Germany when airplanes would fly over and drop leaflets over the occupying German forces in France about comments stated by their German leaders that would derail the moral of the German soldiers. Simply, a demoralized soldier is not effective in battle. TRUMP "LIED" TO AMERICANS ABOUT DANGERS OF CORONAVIRUS wrbtrader
That’s funny I noticed a pattern with republicans, too. Trump tells y’all some bullshit and you idiots believe it. It’s almost as if you’re in a cult.
I am neutral...voted for Regan re-election...1st time I was eligible to vote, both Bush's, didn't vote during the Clinton years (nobody I liked...old man Bush I didn't give him a 2nd chance for re-election) and voted for Obama (twice). Yet, I don't believe in Trump's bullshit due to personal reasons involving the military / coronavirus. Didn't vote in 2016...was in a coma for a few months. Had I not been hospitalized...didn't like Hillary nor Trump. Thus, would not have voted. Regardless, I don't know who's running Biden's campaign but it must be by someone that's ex-military that believes in a counter-attack strategy. Its effective so far since the DNC. wrbtrader
Well let me congratulate you on recovering from being in a coma. You should vote, though. And I don’t care who you vote for.
Says extreme liberal hack, Bob Woodward trying to sell his book? Apparently, it is not doing so well, that is why he has to create a controversy and get some relevance? Ha ha ha ha! You extreme liberal ET trolls are hilarious. Try harder and make it more convincing atleast.
Absentee Ballot here...won't be returning back to the U.S. until next year....assuming the Pandemic has not gotten worst in the U.S. wrbtrader
To the point of this thread: Of course Trump knew the virus was deadly and easily transmissible. We taxpayers and congress ensure the best resources are available to get the executive branch the best information in the world. That’s also known as the deep state because it involves hard working, intelligent professionals that don’t troll forums and Breitbart.com. Of course Trump lies to the American people - he is compulsive with that. He lies about everything. What’s really messed up is Bob Woodward holding back this information to sell books when he should have released it in March when the Trump administration was dithering. There is a form of truth in Trump’s lying so consistently just like there is a form of lying in Woodward holding back the truth to sell books.
