What many oversee is China has become a major power with no debt, them buying as much Gold as possible and greatly increased military. And USA is heavily in debt both government and citizens. The military had declined. We are no longer a strong country.. our people have next to nothing in savings. Our economy has become much more service than manufacturing. When the goods stop coming from foreign countries, service is going to be layed off.
AI is going to replace a significant number of people, jobs. Sure, maybe, manufacturing companies will come back to America, eventually, and then there'll be a Universal Basic Income. Who really knows what future society direction will look like 5, 20, 50, 200 years from now. Change, revolution, evolution is inevitable But He who has the Gold creates the rules. Same since the Ancient Egyptian times
I said it before a million times. Manufacturing jobs are NEVER coming back to the USA no matter how long they fight this tariff war. Tariffs are only destroying world wide economies....
