Trump expects exoneration soon — and if not, he’ll risk impeachment by firing Mueller: report CNN reports that Trump has recently been boasting to allies that the Russia probe will be over very shortly, and that Mueller will personally exonerate him. The president believes this, CNN’s sources say, because his attorneys have tried to manage him by telling him that he faces no real danger from the probe. However, some of the president’s allies believe this is delusional, wishful thinking — and they fear what Trump will do if that exoneration letter never comes. One Trump ally tells CNN that the president will likely have a “meltdown” after months go by without an exoneration letter, after which “he’ll try and fire Mueller and then be impeached.” Another Trump ally similarly warns that Trump’s lawyers are playing a dangerous game by buttering him up with happy talk about the Mueller probe ending shortly. “I’ve known him long enough to know that disappointing him is a problem and they’ve built up a level of expectations for him that are unrealistic,” the source said. “[They’ve] lulled him into a false sense of security.”
“CNN sources say” The minute I see that I stop reading because it’s most likely fake news. They have lost all credibility as a news institution.
Unless you are a psychiatrist I imagine it is difficult to get into the head of a clinical narcissist. We know Trump has got to know everything he is vulnerable on. It's extremely likely that's why he has steadfastly refused to publicly release his tax returns, why he fired Comey, saw to it that Preet Bharara, specifically, was removed from the New York Office, and why he said his families financial dealings were off limits -- only a narcissist could be so deluded as to think that would have any effect. I'm not a psychiatrist, but Trump has got to realize that copies of his returns are in a secure, government issue file cabinet at the FBI, identical, I imagine, to the ones we used at Los Alamos, and the type Richard Feynman enjoyed breaking into. Now, a normal person would be scared shitless. But of course Trump is anything but normal. Though as I said, I am not a psychiatrist, I have to think that Trump, in his deranged, narcissistic ant brain , believes he is smarter than Mueller and his team of some of the most experienced prosecutors in the nation. If Trump's lawyers tell him he'll soon be exonerated, and I doubt they do, why would they, he surely would be thinking in his little narcissistic chicken brain, "Just as I thought, Mueller is a fool, I've out smarted that showboater." If he doesn't fire Mueller, and soon, it may be because Trump, in his narcissistic pea brain, thinks he is invincible. His lawyers are confirming what he "knew" all along -- Mueller is a "loser" and way too dumb to ever catch a "a very smart guy" such as himself. The tactics Trump is using on his clueless "base," such as reminding them of Hillary's endless "crimes" and slime-ing Mueller and the FBI, are just examples, in his narcissistic birdbrain, of himself as the brilliant manipulator of a bunch of losers who he can use to pull off yet another incredibly big deal.
No one doubts that the intel swamp goons have stuff on Trump. After all, they have made it their mission to defend one candidate and to bring down the other regardless of what the will of the people might be. It's amazing how happy you are about all that.
Psychologically speaking I think the mind of a Trump supporter is more interesting than Trump himself. There’s a cult of personality aspect I find really interesting.
CNN reported on the first Mueller indictments and they have been factual and correct 100 times more than your pathologically lying leader.
You have it totally backwards. Trump supporters for the most part went with him because he was the only candidate with the stones to address the country's major problem, immigration. The fact that he was a multi billionaire willing to accept a trade down in lifestyle for the good of the country didn't hurt. Conservatives are vastly different from liberals in that they actually do believe, often times naively, in their principles. They see a frightening crew of Deep State operatives, intelligence agencies and democrat thugs allied with the media in a brazen attempt to undo the election. They are appalled by what democrats accept as the natural order of things, ie Trump and his supporters being hounded for minor violations when the Clintons had vastly more serious matters overlooked and ignored. They expect better from their government and their elected representatives.
