Though Trump skipped out on making the rounds this season, he went to Walter Reed in 2017 on Dec. 21 to see injured troops. Trump should be applauded for his budgetary travel efforts. What with Melania back and forth this holiday season and the kids flying about. Also, apart from signing blank pieces of paper in the Oval Office and watching cable TV whilst Tweeting furiously and eating cheeseburgers in bed, he's trying to reign in some of the expenses accrued from his numerous working trips to Mar-a-Lago.
