Actually, he's leading for the same reason Bernie is driving his own poll numbers up. Both are speaking out against the establishment. People let "crazy" slide when they challenge Washington. Hate Trump all you want (and I do) the man will succeed in influencing the dialogue, as will Bernie. The more media attention is given to Trump, the more he'll glow. That's what he thrives on. Ignore him and he vanishes. The establishment hasn't figured that out yet.

Bernie has been consistent throughout his political career, Trump advocated for amnesty, was pro choice, favored higher taxes, favored universal healthcare, was for gun control etc. Trump is fleecing the right wing racist base for his own ego gratification and the dumb Cons are falling for it.
The support looks pretty low to me, I expected at least 50% of the Republican primary voters to be moonbats.
The difference between Trump and Sanders is that Sanders is an adult, and sane. Neither will be president, but comparing the two in any context is nothing short of insulting and in bad taste.
