    As per Vanity Fair: Torpedo by his lawyer;

In a separate cable news appearance, Bobb also unwittingly undercut Trump’s story that the FBI performed its search in secret in order to plant evidence, telling Real America’s Voice that the former president and his family watched the whole thing on a live video feed. “I think the folks in New York—President Trump and his family—they probably had a better view than I did,” she said. “Because they had the CCTV, they were able to watch.” She added that though she was answering investigators’ questions while the raid occurred, the Trump family had seen “the whole thing.”

  2. From planting evidence to this...

President Trump, in order to prepare for work the next day, often took documents including classified documents from the Oval Office to the residence,"

Trump issues unsigned statement offering yet another excuse for possession of classified info

The Department of Justice says that it executed a search warrant at Mar-a-Lago to protect critical nuclear weapons and signals intelligence documents, but Donald Trump's new defense is that the entire world is already free to view the documents.

On Friday evening, Trump's organization reportedly gave an exclusive new statement to far-right writer John Solomon, who proceeded to read it on-air on Fox News. Solomon is one of Trump's representatives to the National Archives and Records Administration, along with Kash Patel.

"As we can all relate to, everyone ends up having to bring home their work from time to time. American presidents are no different. President Trump, in order to prepare for work the next day, often took documents including classified documents from the Oval Office to the residence," Trump admitted, even though some of the documents recovered are supposed to remain in a SCIF or "Secure, Compartmentalized Information Facility."

"He had a standing order that documents removed from the Oval Office and taken into the residence were deemed to be declassified," the unnamed spokesperson said.

That would mean that all of the documents in question are now in the public domain.

"The power to classify and declassify documents rests solely with the President of the United States. The idea that some paper-pushing bureaucrat, with classification authority delegated by the president, needs to approve of declassification is absurd," the statement falsely claimed.

The president does not have the power to unilaterally declassify nuclear weapons information.

Even Trumptards won't believe this shit, imagine him taking 'work home'.

But to get the story straight, the FBI planted all these documents that Trump declassified? Wouldn't it be better to plant documents that weren't declassified?

Absolute Bull Shit and repeatedly stated on Fox News. While the President has the power declassifie most things he has to go through a legal process to do it.He can't just take classified documents home and say its declassified.

It may or may not exist. Even if it doesn't exist, it is not an issue. The presidents power to declassify anything non Nuclear related is absolute, doesn't even need to be in writing.

The only exception are Nuclear secrets.

This is what they are hoping to get him on now.

On anything else they have no legal case whatsoever. Otherwise they would have raided him in 2021.

Trump declassified the documents, which he hasn't seen or touched, and which were planted by the FBI anyway.

Steven Aftergood, director of the Federation of American Scientists Project on Government Secrecy, said that such authority gives the president the authority to "classify and declassify at will." The president is not "obliged to follow any procedures other than those that he himself has prescribed," Aftergood said. "And he can change those."

"There’s no question that the president has broad authority to declassify almost anything at any time without any process," said Stephen I. Vladeck, professor at the University of Texas School of Law.

There is no contradiction. Trump as POTUS could legally declassify anything except Nuclear secrets.
So if anything Nuclear related was planted by the Feds into his boxes during or after the raid, then Trump would be stitched up like a kipper.
