Moving him to Walter Reed is a massively smart move. In the unlikely event that he should die, there would be years of commissions to look at what was done when and why and so on and so forth. Not interested in all of that. Sending him over to Walter Reed will cut a few years and conspiracy theories off of the after-action report- along with increasing his recovery chances greatly. Particularly when he reaches that inflection point a few days in when patients tend to either recover- or go the other direction and head toward the cytokine storm which sets in hard and fast when it does - and often the fast downhill occurs even after the patient has begun to recover a little. They need to be ON TOP OF THAT. We don't need any committees or commissions later. Do everything early and consistently and then accept what life brings.
