It's like hes purposely trying to lose without realizing it

He must be trying to lose, why else would he do this in the middle of Covid. Even he isn't that stupid right??? Covid becomes a pre existing condition and in the south where it's going to wind up being the worst because they are owning the libs with no masks, no one gets renewed at year end... brilliant Don!

You'd think he'd at least have an alternative before striking it down and throwing the country into more chaos. Has to be an election thing - he realizes he had all these promises he hasn't delivered on. Like a kid who realizes he didn't do his homework and its all due tomorrow.

Guy is a total jackass at this point.

    IMO:

He has always been a total jackass and complete con man. He hasn't changed--at all. Everyone that voted for him, with normal or higher intelligence, knew exactly who he was, and who they were voting for.

Reality TV Trump never imagined he'd actually be elected. It was a publicity stunt.

You and other voters like you surprised him.

It's really not his fault he was elected.

Any rich clown can run for office. But clowns shouldn't be elected. The public, at least, ... at the least, .... should have better sense than that.

Can't wait to read what the history books will say about voters after all of this.

If the DNC would have run an actual candidate Trump wouldn’t have been elected.

    No argument there. You're right.

BUT, Trump didn't have to be the Republican candidate.

    Everyone forgets that part.

This basket of deplorable has been trying to distance themselves from this dumpster fire while shifting the blame on the dems for a while now. Don't fall for it.

    I'll say this.

I admit that Hillary wasn't the best candidate. Now, maybe that was due to fake news, maybe not. There's a lot of classified information (that most aren't privy to), involved in that answer, imo.

I do know that in light of the environment at that time, proper or not, she wasn't the best candidate for D's.

Nevertheless, going forward, when faced with the choice, or perceived choice, of a D criminal, vs a R criminal, choose the one that has the higher intelligence.

A smart criminal is still capable of doing good, non-criminal things. A dumb criminal is hopeless.

I voted for him because of two main reasons. First, to have him appoint one conservative SCOTUS. He got two. He over-delivered on that one.

Second, I voted against Hillary. No way I would have voted for her. I voted for Bill, though.
