Trouble logging into IBKR Mobile this morning

    Anyone else having problems logging into IBKR mobile? It keeps failing to connect to the server. Internet connection is good.

    They acknowledge problems on the TWS login screen. Try the website.
     
  3. One day the markets will crash and you won't be able to login to that little app.

    You have other ways of getting in.
     
  5. Isn't it Saturday today? If IBKR does software maintenance they do it on Saturday and block access.

    The markets crashed in March of 2020. Where have you been? In SIM land?

    I had the issue logging in starting yesterday. Only on IBKR Mobile, I am able to log into TWS Desktop and IB API fine. I even get the IB Key authentication prompt on my phone for Desktop and API. But logging into IBKR Mobile is intermittent. Out of 10 attempts that I just made, I was able to log in once. The other times, it keeps alternating between the "Connecting...", "Connection error, will retry in x seconds..." and "Please wait while..." screens.

    I also have a problem logging in on IBKR Pro Mobile app today (Monday Aug 23) and once a few days ago. I'm in Canada. Was able to log in once a few hours ago, after the first failure, but now it is again giving response like "Attempt 2: connection error, will retry in 2 seconds...". Was trying to check out today's portfolio action, not putting in any trades today.

    I then used the Client Portal system to access IB from my computer to get some report PDFs and that worked OK and authentication worked properly with the IBKR app. Authentication has caused me problems many times in the last year, but recently it has been working OK.

    It started working fine a 2-3 days after I made that original post.
