Hi Baron I think because ET is a trading forum web site, it might be a good idea that a special forum is designed for members to frame and discuss some important Trading Terminologies. 1. If possible, with proper moderation, Each trading term should be exclusively assigned with one single predefined thread. (i.e. "Price Action" should not have more than one thread.) 2. Many arguments on ET (seemed to me) were partly (or mainly) due to a confusion of different concepts/definitions with different traders/posters for a same trading term, such as Price Action. 3. I guess my own concept and definition of Price Action could be possibly quite different than many other posters on ET, even though I keep using the same term as all others. 4. People should be able to look up easily in the terminologies forum as what's another poster's stand and understanding of a particular trading term being discussed/ argued. 5. However, if I have the chance to discuss this same term against others in a thread (which is one of the predefined threads in the forum) and register my own framework/ definition for the term, and others have once noticed/ realised that, any potential arguments (related to this term) among posters could be logically reduced. 6. This unique forum (like a special Wiki) by ET for trading terms could be a valuable contribution/ reference/ resource to trading newbies. 7. When a poster starts using a brand new trading term, such as Price Driver, on-the-fly is not good enough, because it would easily cause unnecessary arguments. The poster should first register and explain this new trading term in the terminologies forum for everyone's understanding/ reference. Just 2 cents!
Odd I like this idea..., but even defining terms could be problematic...., and result in a bitch fest It would be really good for the newbies to get a level set RN
Thank RN. Sometimes even I myself might find it useful about where to get meaningful answers when reading/encountering something like PCT, XJW, MZS, etc. Some are very ET specific. Not only save time but also easy clarification.
