Anyone else trading stocks or ETFs during extended hours? I'm doing a lot more lately.... For example I'm up over 1k Friday because I scaled into inverses late Thursday after hours once I saw negative reaction/selling after AMZN & AAPL reported earnings. Any other favorite setups you use? Another one I trade is occasional premkt gaps
In my stock days, I used to pull up a list of stocks trading up ( bull market ) down ( Bear ) Big, wait for a 50% pull back then join there direction.
Thanks, good idea to test re waiting for pullbacks. I've found that simply buying inverses TVIX etc at new gap highs premkt seldom works, because they often sell down then bounce. For stocks there's occasional premkt runners with bigger premkt moves than in-market runs, especially small caps. It's useful to test because of the volatility, trading extended hours setups.... would like to see more ideas
Didn't work when PDT came in, most gap up and run into news the sell on the news so having to hold over night ruined me. Thinking about it thats pretty much all i used to plan, 20 years ago,. Made a living off small account 6k making 2k per month for a wage.
