Trading poorly... sold everything to get fresh start?

  1. Has anyone done that before if you are trading poorly and carrying drawdowns that are making you uncomfortable?

  2. Yes always good to clean the slate once in a while.

  3. Yes many times, but don't sit around and watch the market, turn everything off and take a break from the market.

Because soon as you liquidate everything will turn up and you will feel sicker.

  4. It happened to me many times before. Things won't go your way until you sold or closed your position and make you feel like a moron.

  5. Yes, spring cleaning - as it were.

Might be a good time to take a small break or better yet, hone your skills (The latter of which never stops).
