Trading Platform Suggestion

Discussion in 'Trading Software' started by BullishLife, Jan 12, 2016.

  1. Hi everybody,
I'm relatively new on the trading online world and I would like to have a suggestion regarding the trading platform to use. I prevalently use Interactive Brokers but I also own other accounts and I would like to use all of them with a single software, instead of learning how to use several different platforms for every broker I trade with.
Does anybody know a trading platform which is able to use data for more than one broker? And which is the best in your opinion?

This is going to be very difficult to implement with online Brokers. You need a broker neutral platform that is certified with all of your online brokers and that will allow access to the trading routes, all at the same time. Then you need the platform to upload your morning positions and keep track of your daytime positions drop copies by account. The market data part is very easy, the set up of the routes and morning positions are going to be a challenge.

Try contacting Silexx OEMS and see if they can set this up with your current brokers.

Hi, with regards to trading platforms, which CFD platforms offer programming of daily loss limits
IE "no trading is allowed after certain loss amount is triggered"

I tried Ninja Trader and it works in this sense. I also suggest to have a look at TraderDesk (www.traderdesk.com). It supports Interactive Brokers too and I think it is worth a try.

  8. Thanks everybody for your replies. I tried several of your solutions, currently I'm trying TraderDesk and I have to said that it offers a lot of tools to work with Interactive Brokers data.
