I have moved my partial IRA to IB to trade options and futures, there is no overwhelming need for me to do otherwise. I like their micro futures commissions and prices in general. User experience with the website is no very good (so far). When I am trying to ask for permission to do so it says "you did not make any changes" (even if you do). I already expressed my experience level, [Hell I was a stock and futures broker and learned options at the CBOT. I am no math wiz or expert by any means but I am no slouch. It seems my account is set up for ETFs, stocks, etc ONLY!] I mean the website is either counterintuitive or buggy or both! Now, do I need to call someone and be on hold for a while, or have some bogus Robo help? I will email this rant to their customer service email [if I ever find it!] P.S. this stupid pop up shows even when I try to ask for Mutual Fund permission,

There was a fucking error reporting the error. I am not making this up! There is a concept of user-friendly websites and there is a nightmare of websites like IB's it might as well be designed by the US Federal Government who designed the Obamacare website!
I have figured it out. But the message showing is not descriptive enough and when I have tried to use the weird email process, it finally just said "an error occurred" and sent nothing. I am sorry for the rant, but in my youth, I made my living programming webpages. I contracted for Schwab, Morgan Stanley, and while TDAmeritrade was the best-designed web portal, IB's is the worst I have seen. For example, after applying for trading permission, the webpage should show that you already have an application under consideration. My liquid net worth was showing 40,000-99,999 and it had to be over $100,000 to trade futures in my IRA...
