Trading is simple and and even a trained monkey can do it. It sounds insane but somehow , i intuitively find there is truth in the words above. But how? Thx!
You have to go to the forest to catch it. But you have to check the country's regulation first. Or go to the temples and catch some as pets. There are already millions and millions of monkeys staying in Asian temples. So this is a more workable solution. Get the computer and special trader's keyboard for the monkey. That's it. Simple as that. Good luck with monkey trading.
I don't know about a monkey. But I could easily run my auto trading algos on a $10 raspberry pi. Not that I would be so cheap. You need to develop automated trading algos. When your luck is in they print money, you just need to ride out the drawdown periods and side ways periods.
Hmmmm, will your monkey have a social security number to give to brokerage? Monkeys often throw poop whoever is near by, better use wired mouse and plenty of Wet Ones.
Just don't lose money. Throw a dart at a stock list and then cut losses and let winnerz run. Monkeys can figure out how tight the stops and targets need to be if their banana allowance is adjusted to match their investment performance. For real, try it on a live one.
Didn't they have a trading contest a few years ago in Korea or somewhere and one of the contestants was a parrot and it wound up beating almost all the human contestants?
Trading is simple in theory—buy low, sell high—but mastering it requires discipline, strategy, and emotional control. A "trained monkey" could execute trades, but consistent profitability demands understanding market dynamics, risk management, and adapting to changing conditions. Simplicity doesn’t negate the need for skill and patience.
