Trading Coaches Are Like Preachers

I don't begrudge anyone for giving their hard earned money - or even what some may consider to be ill gotten gains through sports gambling and selling drugs to kids - to preachers or trading consultants.

However, there is a similarity between the two. Both promise a system of living that could lead to health, wealth and joy.

If you've traded for any length of time, you know that when you are getting margin calls, your nest egg has cracked and you are caught hiding broker statements from your wife, you have entered a hell of your own making.

That's not so different from the church/mosque/synagogue participant who cheats on his wife, drinks away the family fortune or suffers from a myriad of maladies that plagues humans. Some moreso than others.

The preacher won't often kick you out of church for being a fallen man. A trading coach won't kick you out of the chat room either. Neither will they refund your money.

In fact they will more than likely encourage you to give more; purchase their latest book. Attend their Covid compliant seminar.

"I've been trading this system for 13 years without success. Today, I found inside bars."

Do you know what else they have in common? A slick way of laying the blame where it belongs. On you!

I am certainly responsible for both my sins and trading losses.

Here's a tip. Save your money and don't give it away to someone without a REAL solution.

I still believe that thread has to be troll bait.
